Shelly CCOA

Reception, Lab Assistant

Shelly is originally from Brantford, Ontario and moved to Napanee almost 3 years ago. She worked as a testing coordinator in the Center for Accessible Learning at Algonquin College in the Ottawa Valley before moving to the area. After moving to Napanee she started working as a receptionist at an optometry clinic in Picton where her interest in optometry began; she obtained her Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant (CCOA) certification in 2019. She has been married to her military spouse Ron for 15 years and enjoys reading, cooking and going for walks.

As regulated health professionals, we are remaining open during the winter 2021 lockdown. We are continuing to follow health and safety guidelines as set out by the College of Optometrists of Ontario and the Government of Ontario.

Our hours of operation have changed as we are currently seeing patients by appointment only for ALL visits (including glasses adjustments, etc). Please contact our office to book an appointment as needed.

In compliance with the Ministry of Health and the College of Optometrists of Ontario, we are re-opening our clinics to routine care effective immediately. Our office protocols have changed considerably. Please refer to our COVID-19 Building Entry Policy
